We consider the transgender umbrella to include anyone who does not identify with the gender they were assigned / assumed at birth, including transfeminine, transmasculine, nonbinary, agender, gender fluid, third gender, and two spirit people.
We do not take into account whether a person medically transitions or passes as a certain gender, only that they identify with a gender other than the one they were assigned / assumed at birth.
